The start of a journey
When I was little, I used to sit on my mum's lap and watch her play adventure games like “Myst” on our old PC. Later, I played my first educational games on that same PC to start practicing my English. Video games became a way for me to explore, learn, and connect with people and made me fall in love with well-crafted stories and language.
Years later, here I am, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in language and translation in hand and a lot more experience and skills in my repertoire. I started my freelance journey in 2022 and have since been involved in many exciting projects. Most importantly I found a profession that I am passionate about: combining games and the creative craft of translation.

Medieval Studies
My bachelor’s degree focused on Medieval Language and Literature. I am intimately familiar with different forms of medieval German and have a special interest in heroic epics. My favorite games about the Middle Ages: Pentiment and Inkulinati
LGBTQIA+
Gender-inclusive language and making queer voices heard is important to me. I regularly attend workshops to stay up-to-date on developments in inclusive language and can offer my own queer perspective. My favorite LGBTQIA+ games: Hades and Desta
Music
I have an extensive background in music and am well-versed in vocal and instrumental practices as well as musical theory. I am a skilled singer and play the hurdy-gurdy. My favorite games about music: Opera Fatal and Stray Gods
